Here are the ways to give and
a message from our CEO

Clinic-43.jpg

"The impact that the Free Clinic of Central Virginia has had on the community cannot be overstated. Many people in our community do not have access to affordable healthcare and may have to forgo medical treatment altogether. There are devastating consequences for individuals and families, leading to serious health complications, financial struggles, and even loss of life when they don't have access to healthcare. It also shapes the future success and growth of our community. The Free Clinic of Central Virginia helps to bridge the gap in healthcare access, providing critical medical, dental, and mental health services and support to those who need it most.

I urge you to support the Free Clinic of Central Virginia in any way that you can. We do not get money from the federal government, we rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations in the community to continue our important work. Whether it is through volunteering your time, making a donation, or spreading the word about their services, your support can make a difference in the lives of those who rely on the Free Clinic of Central Virginia"

To make a stock donation, please have your financial advisor contact Jen Webb, CEO, at (434) 847-5866 ext. 104 or Jwebb@freeclinicva.org

4 / Tribute Gifts

Honoring or memorializing someone with a donation to the Free Clinic of Central Virginia is a meaningful way to recognize the impact that person has had on your life. Some of our supporters have asked family and friends to make donations to the clinic in lieu of flowers when a loved one has passed away. Others have highlighted a special occasion, such as an anniversary or birthday. Each year several supporters choose to make a donation during the holidays recognizing colleagues, clients, their physician or dentist, or their child's teachers. We list all honorees in our annual report.

Upon receipt of memorial and honorarium gifts, the Free Clinic of Central Virginia will send a note to the recipient if the donor provides an address. For gifts that come directly to the clinic at your suggestion, we will provide you with the donor's name and contact information, so you can acknowledge the gift.

5 / Matching gifts

Many employers match a portion or all of their employees' charitable donations. If you provide us with information about your employer’s matching gift program, we are happy to complete any necessary paperwork.

7 / Donate Dinner

Since many of our evening volunteers come to the clinic to start their shifts straight from their daytime jobs or school and don’t have time to eat dinner, the Free Clinic of Central Virginia provides dinners donated by local restaurants, caterers, civic groups, and individuals. We are always looking for new "staff stuffers." It's a fun group project for students, churches, or civic groups and a meaningful way for local restaurants and caterers—whose employees are often Free Clinic of Central Virginia patients—to support the hard work of our volunteers and say thank you for keeping our community healthy. If you are interested in donating a dinner for our volunteers, contact Jen Webb, CEO, at (434) 847-5866 ext. 104 or Jwebb@freeclinicva.org

8 / Donate Office Supplies

At the Free Clinic of Central Virginia, we strive to keep our administrative costs low. Like any other busy medical practice, we go through a lot of office supplies, and we greatly appreciate donations of new supplies. See a list of our most-needed items.
